The island is quiet in the mornings.

I hear the fountain gurgling beside me, the breeze just strong enough to soften the weight of the Texas heat. After two fast-paced weeks in Vegas—working with some truly wonderful people—Adi and I finally get to slow down. And in the stillness, I’ve noticed something subtle but certain:

I’m changing.

There was a time when the stage was everything—where the joy of the crowd, the lights, the pulse of performance filled me up. And while I still love what I do, something deeper has started to take root.

These days, I find myself thinking less about where I’m going, and more about what I’ll leave behind.
Not in terms of legacy or success.
But in terms of meaning.
In terms of what kind of world my children—and yours—will inherit.

There’s a contemplative air in the sky too. In sidereal astrology, 
​Rahu now transits Aquarius. Ketu moves through Leo.

This axis—the innovator and the sovereign—asks each of us to let go of personal glory (Leo) in service of a larger collective vision (Aquarius).

It challenges us to detach from the need to shine as individuals and lean instead into how we can serve humanity with what we’ve learned.
It’s not about disappearing.
It’s about transmuting.

For me, that means releasing the part of myself that was once fueled by applause, and stepping more fully into the quiet power of listening, teaching, and holding space—for others, for community, for what’s next.
