Costa Rica whispers from afar. Not everyone hears her call but those that do are generally transfixed by her enchanting beauty and charm. For those inclined to be open, this Central American country is a spiritual portal that offers access to the Divine Wisdom of the Universe; it offers the promise of a Pure Life that has long since been forgotten in many quarters of the world.
Adi and I spent several months in Costa Rica this summer and the country spoke so dearly to our hearts that we were inspired to create a new docu-reality series called Pure Life. We were so enthralled with an entire community of people in a small little village called Ecovilla and we felt compelled to shine the light on many healing practitioners there that encourage people to get back to our ancestral roots and reclaim our physical and spiritual health.
Instead of becoming isolated from others and remaining inside, this community encourages people to get out into nature, soaking up the sunlight and the beauty of the trees, while reengaging with the people of the community in the common purpose of elevating one another to become our very best selves. So much of what we have been told recently has been completely contrary to our fundamental natures as human beings. We have been erroneously instructed to fear one another and remain distant from those closest to us while remaining locked inside from the world. All these things, we are told, are meant to keep us “safe” when in reality, they are the things that will threaten our long-term existence. Intuitively, many of us know how contrary these ideas are to reaching our own human potential and now, more than ever, it has become of paramount importance for us to trust our own personal inner guidance system and to change the narrative of the messages that encourage us to fear one another. Quite simply, we are stronger together and will grow only when we come to rely on one another again.
Enter our show, Pure Life. Adi and I want to feature what some may call a new way of living; other wiser souls know that what we are proposing is not new at all. Our goal is simply to provide and share with the viewer information that can be used to find a new pathway to health. We learn that by coming together as a community and believing in one another we have the potential to change the world. Where do we start?: Ourselves.
The fundamental essence of the show is that when we return to our ancestral roots and get back to nature healing can occur. Through the use of natural healing remedies and spiritual modalities miracles can occur, and health can be restored. Our bodies have a Divine Intelligence inside of us that knows exactly how to heal if we only become silent and listen to the needs of the body to operate in optimum health. So much of what we have been told regarding mental and physical health has failed us and Pure Life will encourage people to trust their inner guidance system and become their own healer.
Pure Life: The mantra of this show is: “You heal yourself. We only help guide you along the way.”
Our goal is simply to provide and share with the viewer information that can be used to find a new pathway to health. By aligning with like-minded people, we no longer have to live in fear while being held prisoner by a system that isn’t looking out for our best interest.
Costa Rica provides the backdrop for this transformational vision of reclaiming our personal sovereignty. This series will be shot on location at different locations starting with Season One in Costa Rica. In our inaugural season, the show will incorporate the Spanish language (subtitled) into the production at various points to add authenticity to the show while tacitly encouraging people to begin exploring learning other languages.

By embracing the customs of the shooting location, the viewer will discover how similar we all are. Each of us, no matter the country of origin, experience the same life challenges and in the end we all share the same humanity that supersedes all religions, race, creed, country affiliation, or whatever other “label” we may use to separate ourselves. We are ONE HUMAN RACE coming together to elevate each other to become our very best selves.
When we learn about others and their customs, expand our horizons, and fundamentally learn not to fear one another, we ultimately learn that we all share the same goals in the life—happiness and health for our family and loved ones.
Adi and I are excited to share this new project with you. A new way of living awaits all of us. We need only to have the courage to claim this pathway to healing. We are here in support of everyone who is looking to take their health back into their own hands. These times have called for a Grand Awakening and together we will answer the call. We will remember once again how to live a Pure Life.

This sounds wonderful, and this too is our vision in a small group we have created here in the South Coast of NSW Australia. We call ourselves Shoalhaven (after the district we live in) Awake and Aware. We are planting the seeds of this idea and have the intention of bringing it to fruition in the near (or slightly further) future.
