I’Eternal
Four lifetimes. Four cities. One question older than all of them.

Have you ever stood at a window and not known why you could not leave?
Lucian Saxxon has spent twenty years photographing the oldest places on earth and feeling nothing at all. Then, on an ordinary winter night in Newport, his own reflection stops him in the glass, and something behind his eye pulses back. Once. Twice. Three times. A signal that has crossed a great distance, and a great many years, to find the one man it was sent for.
Buried in that day’s photographs is a single frame he has no memory of taking. Symbols carved into ancient stone. A message that has been waiting far longer than anyone has been willing to say.
This is a story about a soul that keeps forgetting, and keeps coming back.
It moves across four lifetimes and four cities, a woman carving the truth into a temple wall in ancient Egypt, a philosopher guarding it in Renaissance Florence, a trumpet player holding it inside a note in occupied Paris, a photographer in present-day Newport who does not yet know that the eye through his lens has been searching for something across every one of those lives. The same souls, again and again, finding each other in the dark, forgetting, and being called home.
I’Eternal is for anyone who has ever felt a strange familiarity in a stranger’s face, ached at a piece of music without knowing why, or sensed that the life they are living is not the first time they have lived it. It is a mystery, a love story that refuses to end, and a quiet argument that nothing true is ever really lost. The diamond survives every forgetting. The soul returns complete.
